Contemporary art and VIVACE espresso have arrived at Shag Point. The Shag  Gallery features original limestone sculptures blending seamlessly alongside paintings and photography by artist James Russell.

 

His portrait photography and paintings feature a fusion of hand-painted reproductions based upon his monochromatic photographic studies. His seabird series invoke and compliment the coastal lifestyle

 

The Shag Gallery currently features the work of several stone sculptors. Oamaru Stone sourced from North Otago, is sculpted into original and modern forms. A range of affordable and unique art pieces that will suite the contemporary indoor or outdoor space.

 

Shag Gallery also provides an opportunity to purchase a selection of necklaces and bracelets from our BEACHCOMBER rang. Fashionable designs incorporating beads and exotic shells reflect the coastal flavour of Shag Point.
